Reporter quits job live on air after revealing herself to be a marijuana activist
MEET CHARLO GREENE, your new hero.
A reporter for Alaska’s KTVA 11 News, Greene was reporting on the Alaska Cannabis Club, a club whose members advocate marijuana legalisation. (Alaska will vote on whether or not to legalise marijuana on November 4th.)
Greene then announced live on air that she was quitting her job to devote her energy to legalising marijuana in Alaska.
She also revealed herself to be the head of the aforementioned Alaska Cannabis Club and said, “F**k it, I quit” before the camera panned to a stunned news anchor.
Following the broadcast, KTVA 11 News posted this apology.
